Do you have a burning desire to create meaningful change in Tasmania? Change Your Impact is a dynamic program for emerging leaders working within the community services industry.
The innovative program is designed to equip you with practical tools to enhance your leadership potential and bolster your scope of influence and advance your career. If you are an emerging leader who is passionate about contemporary leadership in the community services industry, and eager to connect and grow with likeminded professionals, enrol today to boost your confidence and Change Your Impact!
Developed in 2019, the Change Your Impact program runs from May to September 2024 and includes five specialised workshops designed to challenge your thinking, promote strategic advocacy and hone leadership skills. The program concludes with an in-person, full-day hypothetical workshop to apply learnings from the prior sessions.
Workshops are delivered by Tasmanian specialists in advocacy, interpersonal communication, media, politics, and stakeholder engagement.
Each participant in the program is paired with a suitable mentor with considerable experience of working in the community services industry. Mentors help deepen participant understanding of program content and support the participants’ chosen area of development.
The course has been designed for busy people. This means that there is no out of session work to complete and online workshops run for no longer than 1.5 hours. A course handbook will be made available to participants on acceptance into the program and workshop presentations are available as optional downloads after each session.

The program used hybrid delivery model consisting of three in-person workshops and three online workshops, supported by a fortnightly Community of Practice to embed key learnings.
A full program will be released shortly.

Are you working in/or have you had close links with the community services industry? Do you enjoy supporting people to take brave steps in their life and career — or would you like to try?
Change Your Impact participants will each be paired with a community services industry mentor. Industry mentors are crucial to the participants and allow them to glean as much as possible from the content and activities covered across the life of the program. Participants are paired with a mentor based on their shared areas of interest. Participants are strongly encouraged to meet with their mentor at least once a month for the length of the program.
