To support this important week, Hobart City Mission invite you to tour their Safe Night Space shelter.
It’s National Homelessness Week from Monday 5th to Sunday 11th August 2024. To support this important week, Hobart City Mission are throwing open the doors to their Safe Night Space shelter and inviting you to join them and learn more about the homelessness crisis in our community.
You’ll get the opportunity to:
- See where Tasmanians experiencing homelessness come to stay safe.
- Hear from our amazing staff about the causes and effects of homelessness in our community.
- Learn how we, as a community, can work together to overcome the crisis.
- Walk around the heritage building, and imagine what it would be like to need a shelter to keep warm and safe.
- Plus, chat to our dedicated Safe Space Staff or take a Site Tour.
Group time slots are 30 minutes each, between:
10am – 2pm
