Change for Children Community Consultation Information Session

The Tasmanian Government has recently released Change for Children, a statewide draft strategy for preventing, identifying and responding to child sexual abuse, and a two year action plan. TasCOSS is holding a free, online preliminary information session, which will provide a brief overview of the strategy, as well as information for how organisations and individuals can be involved in the consultation process.

The Tasmanian Government has recently released Change for Children, a statewide draft strategy for preventing, identifying and responding to child sexual abuse, and a two year action plan.

With community consultation on these drafts set to take place over the next three months, TasCOSS is holding a free, online preliminary information session, which will provide a brief overview of the strategy, as well as information for how organisations and individuals can be involved in the consultation process. The session will also give attendees the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to staff from the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

The session will be facilitated by Industry Response Project Lead, Meg Tait, and Industry Response Project Officer, Jill Murphy.

Details on how to join the Microsoft Teams session will be distributed following registration.
