The TasPorts Community Grant Program offers up to $5,000 and in-kind support for community projects around Tasmania’s port operations.
Community groups, not-for-profits, and event organisers that benefit communities around Tasmania’s port operations can now secure funding of up to $5,000. Additionally, in-kind support is available for venue hire fees and civic banner installation.
TasPorts operates major ports in Bell Bay, Burnie, Devonport and Hobart, and community ports at Beauty Point, Flinders Island, King Island, and Stanley. Out-of-area applications will be considered for projects or organisations that strongly align with two or more of TasPorts key focus areas.
Starting from August 1, 2024, applications will be accepted for projects scheduled between October 2024 and March 2025.
