TasCOSS is pleased to provide you with the opportunity to attend a special 2024 Tasmanian State Election: Community Services Industry Forum on Wednesday 13 March 2024 from 10:30am-12noon.
Join us in Hobart or remotely via the Microsoft Teams live stream to hear directly from the major political parties about the policy solutions and investments they are proposing that will provide Tasmanians with much-needed, targeted cost of living relief, and ensure a well-resourced community services industry that can meet increasing levels of need and complexity in the community.
The forum will be facilitated by TasCOSS CEO, Adrienne Picone, who will be joined in conversation by Minister for Community Services and Development, Hon Jo Palmer MLC (Tasmanian Liberals), Shadow Minister for Community Services and Development, Hon Sarah Lovell MLC (Tasmanian Labor), and Tasmanian Greens Leader, Dr Rosalie Woodruff MP.
Each representative will present their opening statement, to be followed by a panel-style forum with questions developed by TasCOSS and the community services industry peaks network in line with our election priorities. There will also be time allotted for questions from attendees.
Attendees have the option to attend the forum in-person or register to join via the Microsoft Teams live stream. Details on how to join online will be distributed via email following registration.
Ticket Options:
