The TasCOSS offices, located at Level 3/86 Murray Street, Hobart, 7000 will close to the public for the holidays at 3pm, Tuesday 24 December 2024 and reopen on 9am, Monday 6 January 2025.

Need help during the holidays? Visit FindHelpTAS (findhelptas.org.au), Tasmania’s largest online directory of community services. You can search the directory by region, council area and service type, such as housing, food relief or mental health. Remember to contact your service provider first before showing up, as their operating hours and availability may change during this period. In an emergency, call 000 (triple zero).
We can all play a role in supporting mental health across our community during the holidays. Small acts of kindness, genuine connection, and compassion can make a huge difference for those struggling. Even something as simple as checking in with friends, family, or community members who might be vulnerable or isolated, can make a world of difference. Visit takeaminute.com.au for tips on how to stay on top of and boost your mental health and wellbeing.
Happy holidays from the TasCOSS team! We’d also like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the organisations and services, many of which are in our industry, that will be working over the Christmas/New Year break to support our most vulnerable and to keep our community safe and well.
