In March 2025, the Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Community Network (TSPCN) will be celebrating a significant milestone – the 20th anniversary of the Tasmanian LiFE (Living is For Everyone) Awards.

The prestigious awards are designed to acknowledge the outstanding contributions and commitment of those working towards the reduction of suicide within our communities. They recognise and celebrate the vital work being done across Tasmania, showcasing dedication, leadership, and innovation by individuals, organisations, community groups, and workplaces committed to saving lives and supporting those impacted by suicide.

From heartfelt grassroots initiatives to comprehensive programs by established organisations, the LiFE Awards recognise the diverse ways our community is making a difference. Past nominees have ranged from artists spreading messages of hope and kindness to crisis intervention specialists providing critical support to those experiencing suicidal thoughts.

As we approach a significant milestone, we encourage you to nominate. While much has been achieved, there’s still important work ahead. Your nominations help highlight those leading the way and keep the positive momentum going in suicide prevention.

You can contact us via TSPCN@reltas.com.au if you would like more information or support writing your nomination.

Nominations close Wednesday 8 January 2025.
