Glenorchy City Council, Playgroup Tasmania and Goodwood Community Centre invite you to come and learn about LGBTIQA+ language and how to use it in a welcoming way. This free, two hour workshop from Working It Out Tasmania will discuss all the letters of the LGBTIQA+ rainbow, what they mean, and how you can use these words safely.

This free 2-hour informal workshop from Working It Out Tasmania will discuss all the letters of the LGBTIQA+ rainbow, what they mean and how you can use these words safely to build connection and inclusion in our community.
We welcome parents with children 0-5 years old to this session: please let us know if you will be bringing children when you register. Playgroup Tasmania will set up some activities, but supervision of children remains the responsibility of parents/caregivers.
Morning tea will be provided: please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you book your ticket.
Arrive at 9.30am for a snack and to settle your children.
About the venue: Goodwood Community Centre has level access and accessible toilets onsite.
The workshop will be held in the main hall, and if weather permits there is a small fenced outdoor area which children may play in.
There is parking at the Centre’s carpark or street-side parking on Howard Road.
Bus stops 7010047 or 7010080 (both near the corner of Acton Crs and Renfrew Circle) is a short level walk away on the 560 or 561 routes between the Glenorchy and Hobart interchanges.
