*** Expressions of interest for The Burnout Project Webinars with Dr Amy Imms is now open. ***
TasCOSS welcomes expressions of interest for those wanting to expand on their understanding of burnout in the workplace and learn how to create a personal burnout plan.
Dr Amy Imms of The Burnout Project will be facilitating two free workshops: one specifically tailored for frontline workers and a separate workshop designed for managers and leaders within the community services industry.
These interactive workshops will allow participants to:
- Gain a brief high level overview of the concept of burnout, the individual and workplace causal factors, and how to manage it.
- Understand the benefits of proactively planning for burnout prevention, and the key elements a burnout plan requires.
- Discuss and apply each core component of a burnout plan, with an emphasis on specific application to the work and lives of participants and their immediate and long-term needs.
- Draw together the discussion and personal application to create a succinct, relevant, personalised burnout plan that they can begin to implement immediately and adapt over time.
TasCOSS Members and CHSP Providers: Free Admission
Due to the interactive style of the workshops and sensitive nature of the discussions, these workshops will not be recorded. Participants will be capped at 15 people per session. Details on how to join the Zoom Video Conferencing session will be distributed following registration.
