The Board of Governance of Women’s Health Tasmania has two vacancies: Chair and General Board Member. Women’s Health Tasmania is a statewide service run by women, for women. Our goal is for women to be active and autonomous decision makers in their own lives.
Women’s Health Tasmania is an exciting and dynamic not-for-profit organisation.
It is a well-established community-owned and managed health promotion service. It provides health promotion activities, health information, training and policy advice and works collaboratively with government and non-government agencies to provide innovative and cost-effective services.
Our current board’s skills mix means we’re particularly interested to hear from people with legal backgrounds, and business experience. We also value the different perspectives that come with having a diverse range of identities on the board.
