You are invited to participate in a research study examining what barriers people face when accessing support for gambling harms. This study will aim to understand what challenges and barriers people encounter for gambling harm support services and how these challenges might be addressed.
The research is open to people who are over the age of 18, gamble or have ever gambled, or support someone who gambles. We are interested in any form of gambling, except lotteries. We are interested in the views of people who gamble in a safe way as well as those whose gambling has been harmful. We are also interested in your views if someone close to you regularly gambles, regardless of whether you feel their gambling is safe or harmful. We are also interested in your views if you work for any organisations that provide support services for people experiencing gambling harm in Tasmania. Participation is voluntary, and you are not obligated to complete this study. We respect your right to withdraw from this study at any time. If you do decide to continue, you will be required to agree to the participant consent form at the beginning of the survey.
