The DV-alert gendered violence in diverse communities workshop focusses on complex forms of violence including forced marriage, dowry abuse, female genital mutilation/cutting, trafficking and domestic servitude. Frontline workers will learn how to recognise these forms of abuse, respond and refer appropriately and with care.

This workshop is for frontline workers who have successfully completed any 2-day DV-alert workshops.
This 1-day workshop is run by our experienced trainers at Lifeline centers and other locations across Australia. You’ll receive a certificate of attendance, contributing to your continual professional development. Note: This training is delivered on behalf of Lifeline Australia RTO 88036.
Our training is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services, which means it’s free for frontline workers in Australia. To be eligible, you must have completed any 2-day DV-alert face-to-face workshops.
