The professional learning series – Rethinking Demographic Change – is designed for leaders and decision-makers, policy advisers, not-for-profit and non-government organisation executives and advocates. The three courses in the series are designed to be intensive and intentional learning experiences, balancing knowledge building through theory and application through practice. The aim of each course is that you will be able to immediately apply your new-found or deepened knowledge in your everyday work.
The courses are designed using a Science of Learning lens to:
– Equip more people with the knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations of demographic change and the tools of systems thinking
– Support and enable deeply informed decision-making with a view to achieving both short-term and longer-term economic and social prosperity as well as greater equity
The series consists of three mutually exclusive but complementary intensive, intentional, professional learning experiences:
Fundamentals in decision-making and demographic change using a systems thinking framework (2 day) – $950
Understanding Population Dynamics (1 day) – $500
Using population projections for policy and planning purposes (1 day) – $500
