If so, the TasCOSS Changemakers Program could be the next step in your leadership journey.
The 2025 program features a dynamic line-up of guest speakers and mentors, including:
- Adrienne Picone, TasCOSS CEO, sharing a vision for sector-wide leadership that supports all Tasmanians to live a good life.
- Adam Mostogl, inspiring participants to embrace their leadership potential using the Working Genius framework for team building and growth.
- Zelinda Sherlock, offering training on intercultural communication skills and anti-racism.
- Burnie Works, offering practical insights into partnership-building and collective impact.
- Experienced CEOs, such as Jo Flanagan, Donna Bain and Alison Lai, sharing lessons in adaptive leadership, advocacy and systems change.
- A panel of lived experience advocates, deepening our understanding of the communities we serve and the power of inclusive leadership.
More than a leadership course, the TasCOSS Changemakers Program offers a deep dive into the DNA of Tasmania’s community services industry. You’ll gain practical knowledge and the opportunity to explore how the system operates, how to form powerful coalitions for change, and how to influence policy and advocate effectively through collaboration with government and media.
The program will increase your understanding of social disadvantage in Tasmania and your role in creating positive change, so every Tasmanian can live a good life. Through targeted training, peer learning and mentorship, you will gain the tools, networks and support to advocate for change, drive impactful results and take a deeper sense of pride in your contribution to the Tasmanian community services industry.
The Changemakers Program is is designed for emerging leaders in the Tasmanian community services industry who want to deepen their understanding of the industry and enhance their ability to lead and drive effective social change. Ideal candidates include professionals ready to take on managerial roles or those already in leadership positions looking to strengthen their impact.
TasCOSS is proud to offer two fully-funded scholarship streams (valued at $1,400 + GST) for representatives from CHSP-funded providers and for diverse women, including those who are LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, living with a disability, or from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Do you know the community services industry like the back of your hand? We’d love you to become a mentor for the TasCOSS Changemakers Program. This program aims to support emerging leaders in the Tasmanian community services industry through mentorship, training and networking.
As a mentor, you will play a crucial role in guiding the next generation through their leadership journey and building their capacity to foster social change.
