Join us for an opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about suicide prevention, share ideas, and hear from guest speakers showcasing initiatives that are making a difference across Tasmania.
We’re delighted to welcome the following guest speakers:
- Casey Musicka — Live4Life Program Coordinator, sharing how the Live4Life program is supporting rural and regional communities to improve youth mental health and help prevent youth suicide.
- Amanda Aitken — Mental Health Council of Tasmania (MHCT), introducing the youth co-designed ‘Whatever the Weather’ assessment tool and its role in supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
- Laura Johnson OAM — Founder of THEIRS, a youth-led mental health and suicide prevention organisation on Tasmania’s North West Coast, sharing insights into their work supporting young people and communities.
- Department of Health — Receive an update on the Department’s current suicide prevention initiatives and priorities, and learn how they are working to strengthen suicide prevention efforts across Tasmania.
A light afternoon tea will be provided.
