Palliative Care Tasmania is hosting a day of interactive activities on Tuesday 12 May 2026 titled ‘Getting to the Heart of It’ for National Palliative Care Week. The formalities include announcement of a new partnership, the opening of the 2026 Tasmanian Palliative Care Awards, and launching our exciting new PalliCaring Guide and website.
Everyone is invited to drop in for thirty minutes or to stay all day.
Also at this event you can experience a mindfulness session with Mindfulness Programs Australasia, creative stitching with 1,000 Hearts, a panel exploring palliative care, live music from Audrey Rose and complimentary light lunch.
