COTA Tasmania is delighted to begin Seniors Month 2026 with our first-ever Ageing Together Expo on Thursday 1 October 2026. The date also marks the United Nations International Day of Older Persons, recognising the contribution, experience and rights of older people, and encouraging communities where people of every age can participate and thrive.
With 50 organisations taking part, there will be plenty to see, do and discover. Enjoy fun activities hosted by stallholders, meet local services and community groups and find practical information for yourself, your family or someone you care about. Participating organisations include Menzies Institute for Medical Research, Mathers House, Libraries Tasmania, Advance Care Planning Australia, Mature Artists Dance Experience, Multicultural Council of Tasmania, Cancer Council Tasmania, Carer Gateway, TasFire and Working It Out, alongside many others.
