COTA Tasmania is inviting Tasmanians of all ages to its inaugural Ageing Together Expo, bringing together information, activities and ideas to help people age well and stay connected with their communities.
Held on the International Day of Older Persons, the Ageing Together Expo will kick off COTA Tasmania’s month-long Celebrate Ageing Seniors Month campaign.
The expo will feature stalls, activities and talks from community groups, government agencies, businesses and local organisations, with practical information about programs and opportunities that can help Tasmanians stay connected and make the most of life.
COTA Tasmania will also launch its Beyond Ageing photography exhibition at the event. The exhibition features portraits of more than 40 Tasmanians alongside their words, reflections and life experiences.
Celebrate Ageing Seniors Month
The Ageing Together Expo marks the beginning of a month of activities across Tasmania as part of Celebrate Ageing Seniors Month.
