With the support of our enthusiastic volunteer mentors, Story Island runs dynamic storytelling workshops in schools in the greater Hobart region. In these workshops, students are mentored and learn new skills to enable them to tell their own unique stories. Then we publish their stories. Every student becomes a published author!
The Story Island Project has its office in the Kickstart Arts Complex, St John’s Avenue, Newtown. In 2023, Story Island will be running its in-school workshops in the Rokeby and Clarendon Vale communities on the Eastern Shore.
