Hobart City Mission has been serving the people of Southern Tasmania for 170 years. This has only been made possible through the generosity of our supporters and volunteers.

Services

Emergency Relief

Food packs, supermarket vouchers and other support for people experiencing financial crisis in Hobart, Moonah, Oatlands, and via an Emergency Relief food van.

Housing & Homelessness

Safe Space: 24 hour shelter, food and support for people experiencing homelessness in Hobart.

DIY Dads: Housing and parenting support for dads and their children who have been experiencing homelessness.

Small Steps: Housing and parenting support for young mums aged 15-25 and their children who have been experiencing homelessness.

Mountain View: Housing and support for people who have been experiencing homelessness and on the Housing Tasmania priority waitlist.

Housing Connect: Housing support through the Housing support front door service.

Counselling

Free counselling service for individuals, couples and families and counselling services through an NDIS plan.

Integrated Family Support Services

In-home family support for families with children aged 0 – 18. Accessible via Strong Families, Safe Kids (1800 000 123)

Disability Support Services

Supported Independent Living, support with personal activities, and support to access the community.

School Chaplaincy

Supporting the emotional wellbeing of children in a number of schools in southern Tasmania.

One Community Together (OCT)

Providing backbone support to One Community Together collective impact model in Clarence Plains.
