Adventure Patch has 40 years’ experience in developing, innovating and delivering Early Childhood Education and Care Services, encouraging children to explore, discover, play, get messy and connect with nature.
A unique and quality child care service, Adventure Patch focusses on the individual child and how they learn, while recognising that a child’s development can be enhanced if they are guided by compassionate Educators who promote play, fun and adventure.
A fundamental part of our philosophy is play.
Play is at the heart of childhood and simply the most important thing we offer children. Through play, children learn to respectfully engage with the world and the people around them. All of our services encourage fun, mess, outdoor adventure and free-spirited play. We also provide opportunities for children to engage in play in the broader community as well as within our traditional education and care services.
Adventure Patch Services
We provide services to over 1,450 families and 2,000 children state-wide through Long Day Care, Outside School Hours Care, Vacation Care and Family Day Care Services.
We have two purpose-built spaces, both welcoming and friendly with educational programs that are designed to be flexible and individually focussed: Mountain View – Church Street, Kingston and Ocean View – Roslyn Avenue, Blackmans Bay.
We have 8 Outside School Hours Care services designed to complement a child’s school day, throughout the south of the State, and lookign to expand in the Northern region.
We also offer Vacation Care with a flexible program of on site days and excursions designed by our Outside School Hours Care Team in conjunction with our Adventure Coordinator, our Vacation Care is designed to encourage exploration, imagination and adventure.
Our Outside School Hour Care sites are used to facilitate the program.
And we off Family Day Care, throughout the State, providing nurturing care in a secure and enriching home environment, supported by coordination unit staff.
