The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania (BIAT) is the peak body for people living with or affected by brain injury across the state.
BIAT is a non-government, state-wide, not-for-profit organisation working for people with acquired brain injury (ABI), their families and other stakeholders.
A major role of BIAT is to promote community awareness and understanding of acquired brain injury, in terms of both prevention and the impact of ABI on the lives of individuals, families and the broader community.
