The Tasmanian Government has released the Tasmanian Disability Inclusion Plan, providing a pathway for a future where everyone feels seen, heard and valued. The Plan is about building a Tasmania where the voices, experiences and views of people with disability guide our decisions and shape our services.
The Plan been built on the voices and experiences of people with disability, their families and carers, disability advocacy and representative organisations.
Over the next six months, all Tasmanian Government defined entities, such as government agencies and business enterprises, will prepare a Disability Inclusion Action Plan including specific actions and measures to promote disability inclusion.
Detailed and summary versions of the Plan are available on the Department of Health website, together with Easy Read, audio, Auslan video and Braille Ready formats.
