The RWVP Scheme helps to protect vulnerable people, including children, from harm through safeguards such as registration and background checks. Under the RWVP Scheme, if you work or volunteer with vulnerable people, including children, in a regulated activity, you must hold a RWVP. It’s also important to consider how you engage with them: whether your interaction and communication is a planned and a normal part of your day, or not.
