They are particularly looking for partners for the Diverse Leadership Program 2026 and the Multicultural Tasmania Employer Conference 2026.

In 2026, the Multicultural Council of Tasmania (MCOT) is keen to build on the successes of their programs over the past couple of years. The aim of MCOT is to advocate for more culturally inclusive workplaces where diversity is represented at all levels, and everyone feels a sense of belonging. MCOT believes that truly diverse and inclusive workplaces will take Tasmanian businesses and organisations to a new level of development, bringing both economic and social cohesion outcomes to the state.

MCOT is currently looking for businesses, organisations, and Peak bodies to partner with their programs this year. They are particularly looking for partners for the Diverse Leadership Program 2026 and the Multicultural Tasmania Employer Conference 2026.

The Multicultural Tasmania Employer Conference (MTEC) has successfully run for the last four years in Hobart, raising awareness about diversity and equipping employers with new tools and ideas for creating more inclusive workplaces. This year, the conference is travelling to Launceston to explore specific challenges of employers and employees/jobseekers of the North and Northwest of Tasmania.
