TasCOSS is proud to announce its flagship event, the TasCOSS Conference, will be held in Launceston this year, bringing together over 150 change agents from across the state.
TasCOSS CEO Ms Adrienne Picone, said the TasCOSS Conference is Tasmania’s premier gathering of community service leaders, service providers, policymakers, lived experience advocate and researchers, all united by a commitment to creating a fairer, more inclusive Tasmania.
“This year’s theme, Shaping our future together, reflects the urgent need for collective action to address complex social challenges, drive policy reform, and empower local communities,” Ms Picone said.
“In the current landscape, taking a collective and industry-wide deep dive into shaping our future together couldn’t be more relevant or timely.
“We’re inviting all sectors to the table to shape a future where everyone can thrive.”
The TasCOSS Conference 2025 Program features keynote presentations from one of Australia’s leading political and economic thinkers, George Megalogenis, alongside systems thinker, demographer, researcher and educator, Dr Lisa Denny, andpolitical economist, writer and advocate for economic system change, Dr Katherine Trebeck.
