TasCOSS CEO, Adrienne Picone, has informed the TasCOSS Board that she will not be renewing her contract when it concludes in June 2026.
Adrienne has led TasCOSS for close to six years with commitment and integrity, and we thank her for her significant contribution to the organisation and to the broader community services industry in Tasmania. Under her leadership, TasCOSS has continued to be a strong advocate for Tasmanians living on low incomes or in vulnerable circumstances and for the industry.
Adrienne will continue in her role until the conclusion of her contract, ensuring continuity of leadership and supporting a smooth and orderly transition. The Board recognises this is an appropriate time for a leadership transition, with the development of TasCOSS’s next five year Strategic Plan to commence in the New Year.
The Board has commenced a process to recruit a new Chief Executive Officer and TasCOSS will share more details about this process in the months ahead. Through this planned transition process, TasCOSS will continue to be a strong voice for our industry and Tasmanians, with a strong leadership team and dedicated staff continuing our work.
Following the conclusion of her contract, Adrienne will take up another leadership role within the Tasmanian community services industry, where she will continue to apply her leadership skills, wisdom and experience for the betterment of the industry and the people we serve.
TasCOSS sincerely thank Adrienne for her integrity, outstanding leadership and service to the organisation and to the community services industry.
