Every Tasmanian has rights to inherent human dignity, non-discrimination, equality, fairness and universality.

You have these rights by virtue of being born human: That’s all it takes to qualify.

TasCOSS works to model how your rights are enacted, protected and integrated into our communities, laws and social policies.

TasCOSS supports the introduction of a Human Rights Act in Tasmania that would guarantee all Tasmanians access to the basic building blocks of life, such as the right to health care, the right to education and the right to housing.
