Mental Health Families and Friends Tasmania is seeking two new general board members! These are volunteer roles. We encourage people with governance experience, a legal background and/or a lived experience of supporting someone with mental ill health and AOD use to apply.
MHFFTas is a well-established community-owned and managed statewide health promotion service. They provide health promotion activities, health information, training and policy advice and we work with government and non-government agencies to provide innovative and cost-effective services. Their feminism embraces women and trans and gender diverse folk.
The MHFFTas Board provides strategic oversight and makes the big-picture decisions that guide our work. Together, their Board and staff are committed to leading systemic advocacy to ensure families and friends holistic wellbeing is a priority, and supporting families and friends to be recognised, included, and valued at all decision-making tables.
