The Tasmanian Workforce Development Scholarship Program will assist up to 200 individuals to undertake qualifications in early childhood Certificate III, Diploma, and Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees.
Minister for Skills and Jobs, Felix Ellis, said these scholarships, delivered in partnership with Early Education Australia, would strengthen the sector right across the state.
Tasmania is projected to need an additional 1,200 education and care educators and teachers by 2029, representing a 14% growth in the sector.
