ATDC Tasmania members are eligible to submit an expression of interest for any of the elected Board Director roles. If you have knowledge, skills or experience in law/legal and IT/cyber security, we encourage you to get in contact.

This year the ATDC Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 23 September 2026. At this AGM, three Board positions will fall due for election and/or reappointment.

Any member of the community is also eligible to submit an EOI. (However, please note that government employees whose role includes alcohol and other drug service delivery, funding/commissioning or policy development are not eligible to become a Director.)

Key information:

  • Not-for-profit governance experience is preferred.
  • Elected Directors are appointed to two-year terms.
  • Each position is voluntary and there is no remuneration
  • However, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
  • Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month.
  • Meetings generally last for two hours.
  • Meetings can be accessed remotely.

The ATDC welcomes applications from the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, people from culturally diverse communities, people from the LGBTQIA+ community, and also from those with a living/lived experience of alcohol and other drug use.

If you wish to be considered, please submit a summary of your background and experience (no more than two A4 pages) and a copy of your CV to ann@atdc.org.au by 5pm Friday 19 June 2026.

ATDC Life Membership

Members are also invited to nominate individuals for life membership to the ATDC to recognise outstanding service over a considerable period of time to the Tasmanian alcohol, tobacco and other drugs sector. Nominations can be submitted through the ATDC website Life Membership page.
