The Child and Youth Safe Organisations Framework (CYSOF) sets out how organisations working with children and young people create safe environments, prevent harm and respond appropriately to concerns. This evaluation focusses on understanding how the framework is being understood and implemented in practice across Tasmania during its early stages.
The Department of Justice has engaged First Person Consulting to evaluate the early implementation of the Framework, which sets out requirements to promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Two short, anonymous surveys are open to people across Tasmania who work or volunteer with children and young people:
Survey for organisational leaders
For CEOs, principals, executive officers, general managers, or the most senior organisational leader to share how the Framework is understood and implemented at the organisational level.

For staff and volunteers who work directly with children and young people (and are not organisational leaders) to share their practical experiences of the Framework in their role.
