Palliative Care Tasmania is inviting people who work or volunteer across life-limiting conditions, ageing, palliative care, grief, loss and bereavement to share their experiences in a new sector survey.

The survey is open to anyone who interacts through their work or volunteering with life-limiting conditions, ageing, palliative care, or grief, loss and bereavement.

It asks participants to share:

  • What is working well.
  • What is not working.
  • Who is missing out.
  • What needs to change.

While a good deal is known about the size of the sector, much less is known about the experiences of those working within it. The survey aims to ensure these experiences help inform decisions about funding, workforce and policy.

What does participation involve?

The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.

Findings will be published in a free public report that organisations across the sector can use. The findings will also be offered to the Department of Health to help inform the next Tasmanian palliative care policy framework.

The next 80 respondents will also receive a $10 coffee voucher.

Palliative Care Tasmania encourages people to complete the survey and share it with colleagues, staff and networks.
