Overview
The City of Hobart’s Community Quick Response Grant provides financial assistance of up to $1,000 to support projects or events that respond to a need in the community. Grants are available to not-for-profit organisations and groups that contribute to social inclusion, diversity, and innovation within the Hobart community.
What you can apply for
Applicants can apply for funding to cover costs related to events, programs, or activities that align with the grant’s objectives. Eligible expenses include:
- Venue hire
- Equipment purchase or hire
- Marketing and promotion
- Facilitators or presenters
- Materials and supplies
Applications close: 3 pm Friday 30 May 2025 or when the funding pool has been allocated
Notification of outcome: within 10 days of submission of a complete application
Activity timeframe: starts no sooner than one month and no later than six months after the submission date of the application
