2025 TasCOSS Annual General Meeting Wrap-Up

The 2025 TasCOSS Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held at 2pm, Thursday 30 October 2025.

Thank you to our valued members for your extraordinary work over the 2024/25 Financial Year — a year that’s seen both challenges and incredible progress for our industry and our communities.

TasCOSS exists to make Tasmania fairer — to ensure every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, security and hope. We do that by supporting our community services industry, amplifying lived experience, and speaking up for people whose voices too often go unheard.

This past year has been one of the most complex in recent memory. Across Tasmania, families are struggling with the rising cost of living, with energy bills, rent and groceries all climbing faster than wages.

And with this, we’ve seen growing pressure on our community services workforce and a housing system that remains stretched beyond capacity. But amid those challenges, our industry has remained a steady, solutions-focussed voice — bringing people together, providing evidence and advocating for change. Read the President’s report in full.

Incoming and Outgoing TasCOSS Board Directors
The following individuals were successfully elected to the TasCOSS Board as Directors, each for a three year term of office:

  • Le-ella Doyle
  • Andrew Hillier
  • Jodie Stokes

Le-ella Doyle is an experienced executive leader with a strong background in service delivery, social policy and health promotion. As a new TasCOSS Board Director, she brings extensive experience in governance, financial stewardship and leadership, grounded in a career-long commitment to social justice, equity and diversity.

Andrew Hillier has over a decade leading Tasmanian community organisations, and brings strong governance and leadership experience to the TasCOSS Board. He is passionate about collaborative, place-based solutions, and is committed to ensuring our industry continues to serve Tasmanians with dignity, compassion and impact.

Jodie Stokes is a dynamic and accomplished leader with over 35 years of experience in community services. A passionate advocate for human rights and equality, she is dedicated to fostering a just and fair community for everyone in Tasmania and is a great addition to the TasCOSS Board.

Thank you to all who expressed interest in joining the TasCOSS Board and to our members for your engagement in the voting process.

We pay thanks to outgoing Board Directors, Penny Egan and Rodney Greene, for their time and dedication to TasCOSS and to the Tasmanian community services industry. Read more about incoming and outgoing TasCOSS Board Directors.
