Working It Out are excited to offer a rare opportunity to access our industry-leading LGBTIQA+ inclusion training for mental health professionals. Participants will examine the underlying and systemic drivers of poor mental health among LGBTIQA+ community members and walk away with tools to provide evidence-based and affirming care to LGBTIQA+ clients in a small, interactive group environment.

Developed by LGBTIQA+ mental health professionals and facilitated by an experienced local psychologist and counsellor who are part of the LGBTIQA+ community, this two day training will give clinicians, counsellors, mental health workers and practice professionals evidence-based training and lived experience centred insight into why LGBTIQA+ affirming services and proactive allyship are essential to your clients’ long-term wellbeing as well as their positive experience of your mental health service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for sole traders or practitioners to access training usually offered in-house by larger organisations.

“Fantastic Facilitators. Resourceful, curious, challenging in an inclusive way. Bravo!” (2025 Baptcare training participant)

Training will be held over the 2 consecutive Fridays at Mornington Skills Centre, 9 Takari Place, Mornington and is fully catered, easy access and has plenty of parking onsite.
