The Office of the Independent Regulator (OIR) is hosting free in-person workshops across Tasmania for people who work or volunteer with children and young people, providing practical information and guidance to help create child safe organisations.
The OIR is offering two types of two hour workshops, giving participants an opportunity to build practical skills, meet the OIR team and ask questions directly.

These practical workshops will help participants build their skills and confidence to assess, interview, analyse and reach evidence-based conclusions.

Child and Youth Safe Standards
These workshops will give participants an opportunity to design a reporting workflow, build a child safe recruitment pack and identify their organisation’s biggest risks.
Participants will leave with clear, practical actions they can use within their organisation.
The sessions are open to anyone who works or volunteers with children and young people, with the OIR particularly encouraging participation from organisations that may not yet be connected with its work.
