This will be a great opportunity to meet representatives of the Safe Families Coordination Unit and learn more about the services they provide in Tasmania.

The Safe Families Coordination Unit (SFCU) is a multi-agency Tasmanian Government unit working together to provide the best available information about family violence incidents, which is used to ensure victims of high-risk family violence are identified and supported, and family violence perpetrators are held to account. It is a police led organisation, including staff from Health, Justice and Department of Education, Children and Young People. The unit undertakes detailed analysis of high-risk family violence incidents and develops recommended actions for Tasmania Police and partnered agencies to support those that are affected by, and those that commit family violence.
