TasCOSS CEO Ms Adrienne Picone said the TasCOSS Conference would take a look at the past 18 months which saw the community services industry flexibly adapt to support those Tasmanians most impacted by COVID-19 in our local communities.
“Bernard Salt will share some pearls of wisdom on how Tasmania’s community services might thrive into the future given the varied challenges we currently face,” said Ms Picone.
“Smashed avocados aside, Bernard has a lot to offer with respect to how we can build better support systems and support our communities post-COVID-19.
“Carly Findlay is a great example of a what a strong, influential voice for change looks like and her calls to improve accessibility for those living with disabilities is having a profound impact on the ground. We’re looking forward to Carly sharing her experiences and hearing about her approach to advocacy.”
