Tasmanian Place-based Change Learning Forum

Creating a more equitable Tasmania through place: the role of government and community services in supporting community-led change in Tasmania.

kutalayna Collective, Burnie Works, Collaboration for Impact, TasCOSS and the Tasmanian Government would like to invite you to the Tasmanian Place-based Change Learning Forum on 1 December 2022 at Brighton Civic Centre. Register for the session by completing the short form below.

The purpose of the forum is to learn from each other about what place-based, community-led change is, how we can work together to progress this in Tasmania, and how to centre community leadership in large-scale change efforts.

We aim to create an ongoing learning network of government, community services, and community leaders to continue working towards a more equitable Tasmania.

You will hear from:

  • Guest speakers from Tasmanian communities that are nation leading examples of community-led collaborative change;
  • Professor Tim Redell, co-author of the recent paper “Alignment of Place-based Funding and Frameworks”; and
  • Each other through discussion groups on ideas and key topics.

This forum will inform how we progress the ten year Tasmanian Community Services Industry Plan.

Register by 21 November 2022. We will contact you to confirm your place.

Places are limited and you have been identified to contribute to this forum. If you would like to nominate someone else to attend, or for further information, contact simone@tascoss.org.au
