Lisa Coulson, Individual

North/North-West Regional Manager, Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre

Lisa has over 25 years’ experience in the not for profit community sector within Aboriginal education, health, aged care and youth services and  a sound understanding of issues facing our sector.

In her current role, Lisa manages a range of programs supporting Aboriginal community members to achieve improved health and wellbeing outcomes, build stronger connections within their community and connections to culture and country.

Lisa has extensive experience in supporting Aboriginal families engaged in the child protection system and believes strongly that the systems and networks within our community need to be strengths based and designed to meet the needs of all Tasmanians to lead fulfilling healthy lives.

Lisa is excited to have been elected to the TasCOSS Board in 2017 and sees this role as an opportunity to gain further understanding of issues facing Tasmanians and having the opportunities TasCOSS will provide to contribute to strengths based solutions.
