“A leaders job is not to do the work for others, it’s to help others figure out how to do it for themselves, to get things done and succeed beyond what they thought was possible.” — Simon Sinek

What do many great leaders have in common? They provide direction and a sense of meaning to others by reminding them of what is important, they create authentic relationships and build trust and they work to build a positive team culture.

Join us for this practical workshop which will:

  • Build on your existing knowledge and skills about the qualities, skills and attributes of a great leader,
  • Explore team dynamics and how to engage effectively with your team,
  • Develop skills to manage workplace conflict including how to have a difficult conversation with a staff member or volunteer or maybe your boss,
  • Unpack the use of emotional intelligence to be the leader you want to be; and
  • Provide you with resources, practical examples and information that you can take back to your team.

These workshops are designed for current and emerging leaders who work for and with Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) funded services and organisations. The aim of the workshops is to support CHSP providers to access training to develop their knowledge and skills in leadership and to strengthen their Wellness and Reablement practice.

Cost:
CHSP Providers: $27.50 (incl. GST)
Non-CHSP Providers: $82.50 (incl. GST)
