Cultural awareness means being aware of and developing sensitivity to cultural difference and cultural diversity. It involves knowledge, attitudes and values that demonstrate an openness and respect for other people and their cultural values and practices.

Meet with Dewayne Everettsmith (Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre) and hear how cultural awareness training is run, what it involves and how it could benefit your team and workplace. These short information sessions will give you the opportunity to understand the training and ask any questions you may have.

The online session is provided free to community service workers, managers and volunteers.
