TasCOSS is thrilled to invite you to the launch of the Community Voices Program

The Community Voices Program is a lived experience advocacy program for people living on low or inadequate incomes. Community Voice Partners receive training, support and payment for sharing their lived experience expertise to ensure the systems, policies, services and decisions which affect Tasmanian communities living on low incomes are fit-for-purpose and inclusive. Click here to learn more about the program.

We’d love for you to join us to celebrate the launch of this program! RSVP now to attend by completing the short registration form below.

The free launch event will include a panel of Community Voice Partners and organisations who have engaged with them. The panel will unpack what they have learned from this kind of lived experience engagement.

At the event, you’ll also get to meet all of TasCOSS’s current Community Voices Partners and chat to them about what they do and how they might be able to support your organisation. You can click here to find out more about how your organisation can engage with the program.

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the hard work that has gone into designing and trialling this program and the wonderful Community Voices Partners who make it possible.

Please note: this event will also be live streamed for those that wish to attend remotely.

Nibbles and light refreshments will be provided for in-person attendees.

This event is kindly supported by Aurora Energy and TasNetworks.

Registration closes 5pm, Tuesday 6 June 2023. For more information, please contact Dr Lucy Mercer-Mapstone, Community Voices Program Coordinator, via email.
