You’re invited to participate in an interactive 90 minute workshop on Microsoft Teams to contribute to the development of Tasmania’s first Wellbeing Framework. This workshop is for staff and volunteers from non-government organisations who have a role in improving the wellbeing of Tasmanians.

The workshop will be held from 10am-11:30am on Thursday 16 May 2024. Register now!

Description:

Wellbeing can mean different things to different people. However, in the broadest sense, wellbeing concerns the various factors that contribute to an individual’s quality of life and life satisfaction, from health, education, housing, the environment, to the Tasmanian Government and community services, and beyond. Many non-government organisation staff and volunteers have a role in supporting efforts to improve the wellbeing outcomes of Tasmanians.

The objectives of this workshop are to:

  • Increase understanding of wellbeing frameworks and their significance in shaping policy and community initiatives;
  • Seek feedback on draft wellbeing domains and outcome statements to ensure they reflect the needs and aspirations of Tasmanians; and
  • Discuss opportunities for ongoing involvement in refining and implementing Tasmania’s Wellbeing Framework.

The draft wellbeing domains and outcome statements will be provided to registered participants about two weeks before the workshop.
