The Pinnacle Foundation
The Pinnacle Foundation provides educational scholarships, mentoring and opportunities for young LGBTIQ+ Australians to realise their full potential and overcome challenges arising from their identity. Scholarships are awarded for fulltime study at public institutions of higher education in Australia, for the purpose of gaining an educational or vocational qualification in any profession, trade, or the arts.
Scholars receive between $5,000 and $7,000 in their first year of study as a Pinnacle scholar and between $4,000 and $5,000 in subsequent years. Subject to continuing to meet our requirements, Pinnacle Foundation scholarships are multi-year and designed to support scholars to complete their qualification.
Applications for 2022 scholarships are now open. Applications will close on 15 September 2021.
Application information session
The Pinnacle Foundation are running an online application information session for aspiring scholars and those working with young LGBTIQ+ Australians on Saturday 31 July at 3.00pm AEST.
The information session will cover tips and advice when applying for a Pinnacle scholarship, what we look for, and how to create an application that will stand out.
The session will be hosted by Laura Cripps, a Pinnacle alumnus who is now member of Pinnacle’s Victorian Committee and who has been involved in the scholar selection process for some years.
