Following on from the Tasmanian Youth Mental Health Forum: Exploring Integration and Innovation (2019), MHCT is interested in engaging with local Tasmanian communities to foster a common understanding of and create a shared vision for youth mental health system integration in Tasmania.

The sessions will include:

  • An overview of the emerging trends in youth mental health across the state.
  • A summary of the Tasmanian Youth Mental Health Forum.
  • An exploration of youth mental health system integration.
  • Work-shopping activities to allow for feedback and discussion.

The sessions will also be used to help us understand what specific needs your community may have that should be considered in any planning around youth mental health system integration.

We welcome attendance from anyone working with young people aged 12 to 25 in the youth mental health sector, or with youth more generally (i.e. community development, youth groups, education, counselling and psychosocial supports), as well as interested community members.

Light refreshments will be provided.

MHCT will be carrying out seven community engagement sessions across Tasmania.
