Gender equality is a priority issue for the Tasmanian Government. It is anticipated that a new Tasmanian Women’s Strategy will be launched in early 2018, building on the achievements of the Tasmanian Women’s Plan 2013-2018.
Since the release of the Tasmanian Women’s Plan in 2013, there has been an increased focus on and interest in the issue of gender equality in Australia. This has included nationally-led efforts to address violence against women and the gender pay gap, as well as recognition and promotion of the achievements of women.
We have seen many positive changes, but there is still much more to do.
To ensure our approach to gender quality and identified priorities is ‘on track’ and relevant, we want to hear from you!
