The SASS educators are offering a one-and-a-half hour interactive webinar designed to empower parents, carers and interested adults with skills and knowledge for tackling the potential negative effects for children and young people exposed to online pornography.

Research tells us that nearly half of all Australian kids aged 9-16 experience regular exposure to pornography, and for many parents and carers this is, understandably, a confronting and confusing topic to address.

Let’s get this out in the open so we can tackle the issues!

Pornography use can shape sexual behaviour and is known to increase tolerance of sexual violence and violence against women. Those who wish to challenge the impact of pornography are less likely to be daunted by this task if they are informed and take an active role in the digital world.
