NAPCAN Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect is running two days interactive workshops on Love Bites is a Respectful Relationships Education Program for adolescents.
The workshops cover on Relationship Violence and on Sex and Relationships followed by creative workshops and community campaigns.
Love Bites is a flexible model with options to use a full day or multi session delivery approach. The program emphasises the importance of a whole of school commitment to respectful relationship education.
Training in the program includes best practice models, theoretical backgrounds, gender, facilitator skills, practical experiences with the activities and planning around actual delivery in your local context. Also included in the training is the Love Bites Junior Program which is Respectful Relationship lesson plans for young people in Years 7-9.
